What is Ecosia?

Okay, so What is Ecosia?

Ecosia is a Google Chrome search engine add-on. I have been using this particular add-on for a few years now, and I am very happy with my experience! I highly recommend it.

How does Ecosia fit in with your blog?

Ecosia is a search engine that helps plant trees! They are very open about who they are, what they stand for, and their results! Not to mention that they are very transparent about where their funding goes. Their financial reports are available to any and all who are interested.

How does Ecosia work?

First, Ecosia gets added to your google search engine. Then, when you google something, the money generated from ads gets sent to and collected by Ecosia, and that income is used to plant trees! All that information is available here: https://info.ecosia.org/what

At the bottom of that link, there are more links to their Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Instagram, and LinkedIn socials. I highly recommend checking them out! Ecosia posts many results from their efforts, which is a bit of an environmental news pick-me-up. They also have apps available for both Android and iPhone users!
